Development for People and Nature Association (DPNA)
The Development for People and Nature Association (DPNA) is a Lebanese non-governmental association that works with children, adolescents, youth, women, and people with special needs by encouraging them to partake in public life and protect the environment. Moreover, DPNA supports these groups by empowering civil society institutions.
DPNA is based in Saida in South Lebanon, and fields two teams in the Bekaa Valley, and three in South Lebanon.

Hayya Binna
Hayya Binna is a non-governmental organization based in the southern suburbs of Beirut that promotes civil liberties and citizen involvement in political issues. Hayya Binna is also the home of “Ummam,” its production and research arm which deals with issues related to civil violence and war memories.
Hayya Binna fields three teams in the Bekaa Valley.

Permanent Peace Movement (PPM)
The Permanent Peace Movement (PPM) was founded in 1986, at the height of the civil war, by a group of university students. PPM works on a number of issues related to peace-building with cooperation from international institutions. The topics covered include conflict resolution, arms control, child soldiers, democracy and participation, restorative justice, nonviolence, and socioeconomic rights. In the last decade PPM has mediated and delivered training in Cyprus, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, Yemen, Sudan and Lebanon and has instructed Iraqi NGO staff.
PPM fields four teams in the Shouf and Aley regions and is based out of Mkalles, Mount Lebanon.

Baldati
Baldati is a Lebanese development, environmental, and cultural association which works to develop simple and practical methods by which to revive Lebanese villages, reunite their communities, support their institutions, and encourage dialogue within and outside their communities. Baldati has so far executed over ten projects, with the support of other NGOs, government institutions, and non-profits such as NDI. Baldati intends Lebanon to be a pilot project, and a cornerstone to aid in the development of the entire region.
Baldati fields five teams: four in Mount Lebanon, and one in the Bekaa Valley.

Sho’un Janoubiya
Sho’un Janoubiya is a non-partisan monthly magazine with the objective of stimulating civic discussion and participation on all issues related to youth and women’s political participation, citizenship, and democratic elections in the predominately Shiite suburbs of Beirut and the Bekaa Valley.
Sho’un Janoubiya is based out of Dahieh, the southern suburbs of Beirut, and fields one team in the southern suburbs and three in southern Lebanon.

Centre d’Etudes Strategiques pour le Moyen-Orient (CESMO)
CESMO is a think tank specializing in security sector reform based in Tripoli, Lebanon. It has more recently widened its activities to include more political development programs and capacity building at the grassroots level. CESMO implements its programs with cooperation from local and international non-profit organizations.
CESMO fields seven teams in North Lebanon, and also has an office in Paris, France which focuses on publications.

Lebanese Physical Handicapped Union (LPHU)
The Lebanese Physically Handicapped Union has been raising awareness and advocated for issues related to the disabled since 1981. LPHU advocates at both the national and grassroots level, and has community branches in Beirut, Byblos, Bar Elias, Mashgara, Nabatieh and Saida. Other than advocating the rights of the disabled, LPHU also works on community-based physical, educational, and vocational rehabilitation for the disabled.
LPHU is based out of Beirut, and fields two teams in the same city.
